GOLD STAR POPCORN
⅓ cup organic popping corn (whole)
3-5 Tbsp Ahara Rasa Gold Star Ghee
Large pinch Himalayan pink salt
1.5 Tbsp coconut sugar
In a heavy bottomed pan or a stainless wok, put 2-3 Tbsp Ahara Rasa Gold Star Ghee, on medium heat until liquid and hot, but not smoking. Add ⅓ cup popcorn and make sure its covered in ghee. Cover and agitate on medium-high heat. When popping starts, make sure to shake the pan every 5-8 seconds. When popping slows, uncover and remove from heat. Melt 2 more Tbsp ghee and drizzle evenly over popcorn and toss with coconut sugar and salt.
ROASTED GOLD STAR CAULIFLOWER WITH CUMIN
1 head cauliflower florets
2 Tbsp Ahara Rasa Gold Star Ghee
1 Tsp cumin powder
Pinch coarse salt
Preheat oven to 450°F. Put florets in mixing bowl and massage ghee onto florets to coat. Sprinkle cumin and salt over florets and toss to coat evenly. Put on baking sheet in oven for approx. 15-20 minutes depending on desired softness.
